How to use Telebam
Everything you need to know to create links, manage groups, and get the most out of Telebam.
What is Telebam?
Telebam creates a unique Telegram group every time someone clicks your link. Unlike a normal Telegram invite link that adds people to one shared chat, Telebam generates a fresh, private group with your entire team already inside. This means every customer gets their own dedicated space with your agents, specialists, and bots -- all ready to help from the first message.
Dynamic Group Naming
When creating a link, you type a group name and can insert dynamic tokens that get replaced automatically when someone clicks your link.
{date}Date
Auto-filledReplaced with today's date (e.g. Apr 08). Useful for tracking when a group was created.
{name}Visitor Name
Visitor entersThe visitor will see a form to enter their name before the group is created. Their name is then inserted into the group name.
Examples
You set the group name to:
Acme Realty - {name}
A visitor named "Alex Johnson" creates:
Acme Realty - Alex Johnson
You set the group name to:
Sales - {date}
Two visitors click on Apr 08:
Sales - Apr 08
Sales - Apr 08 (2)
You can also use a plain name without any tokens -- each group will be auto-numbered.
Automatic Numbering
Telebam automatically numbers duplicate group names -- just like how your computer names duplicate files. If two groups would have the same name, the second one gets "(2)" appended, the third gets "(3)", and so on.
The numbering resets based on which tokens you use:
Static name (no tokens)
Every group shares the same base name, so numbers keep incrementing.
With {date}
Numbering resets each day because the date makes the base name unique.
With {name}
Numbering resets per person because each name produces a unique base name.
With {name} + {date}
Numbering resets per person per day.
How to Find a Telegram Username
To add team members to your link, you need their Telegram usernames. Here is how to find one:

Open the person's Telegram profile
Tap their name in any chat, or search for them in the Telegram app.

Look for the @username
Their username is displayed under their name, starting with @. For example: @john_doe. If they do not have a username set, they will need to create one in Telegram Settings > Username.

Enter the username without the @
In Telebam, just type the username without the @ symbol. For example, enter "john_doe" not "@john_doe".
For bots, the username usually ends in "bot" -- for example: @PropertyBot.
What Happens When Someone Clicks
Here is the full journey from click to conversation:
Visitor clicks your Telebam link
They see a branded page. If the group name includes {name}, the visitor is asked to enter their name first.
Telebam creates a new Telegram group
A fresh group is created using your Telegram account. Tokens are resolved and duplicate names are auto-numbered.
Your team members are added
All the usernames you listed are added to the group automatically. Bots are included too.
First message is sent
If you configured a first message, it is posted in the group. For example: "Welcome! Our team is here to help."
Visitor is redirected to Telegram
The visitor is taken directly to the new group in the Telegram app (or web). The conversation starts immediately.

Use dynamic tokens for organization
Combine tokens like "Sales - {name} - {date}" to create groups that are easy to find and sort in your Telegram sidebar.
Track your clicks
Check the Clicks column in your links table to see how many people have clicked each link. Use this to compare which links convert best.
